Special Roman goddesses, beautifully decorated gold and silver Merovingian jewelry, three still mystical dodecathans, a few medieval shoes and a Viking sword: just a few of the more than 100 remarkable archaeological treasures that can be seen this summer in Center Céramique. Conservators of the most important archaeological and historical museums in Euregio have made the selection: not only the most beautiful or most valuable objects, but also mysterious and mysterious objects. Objects that until today nobody knows where they come from or what they served.
This exhibition with top and questions from the Euregional archaeological history takes place on the occasion of the major international archeology congress organized in Maastricht by the European Association of Archeologists (EAA) in early September. The exhibition runs through Maastricht until the National Archaeological Day on 13, 14 and 15 October.
